We arrived in San Jose Del Cabo around noon, got our tiny Chevy Comfort from AVIS, then drove to Mega and Costco to buy food/water and grab lunch. When we arrived at the Playa Grande Resort in Cabo San Lucas...it was MASSIVE! Our room had an amazing view of the inner courtyards and of course...the ocean =) We walked around the beach, relaxed in the jacuzzi, then went into town for dinner at Baja Cantina, located in the marina.

We woke up really early to catch the shuttle to our Costa Azul Canopy Adventure. There were seven zip lines, a suspended bridge, a tarzan swing, rappelling, tour of the tequila factory, and tequila tasting! My personal favorite: "Don Crispin's Tequila de Almendra" (unfortunately only available in Mexico). After our adventure we went back to the resort and slept on the beach, swam, and relaxed in the jacuzzi again.

Shopping day near the marina at the flea market, artist shops, and around the city! That afternoon we attended the resorts free cocktail party... Mai Tai's and Tequila Sunrises for everyone! haha... Lex and I both ended up winning Mexican blankets because of our Spanish speaking knowledge, and mom won a 10min shoulder massage in the raffle. That night my dad and I went out on the beach and around the resort to take "artistic" pictures.

We took our little Chevy to Chileno Beach for some snorkeling and to try out my waterproof camera...guess what- it works! =) Unfortunately we ran into some blue bubble jellyfish, one got stuck in dad's snorkel mask and the entire right side of his face was swollen for a couple hours. That evening we ate at this amazing little authentic restaurant "La Casa del Pozo" (The House of the Well). There is actually a well located in the middle of the restaurant that has been there for 150yrs+. The waiter really liked our family because he brought all of us handmade tazitos (little cups) tequila for mom and dad, sprite for Lex and I.

Snorkeling cruise on the PezGato! I didn't get seasick, I'm so excited I've started to overcome the whole motion sickness things...it's quite a process. We had a great time on the boat, snorkeling, enjoying the beach, eating lunch, and the crazy windy ride back to the Marina. We passed the Arch, and saw the seals =) Dad had a little too much fun on the boat and ended up staying in for the evening. Lex, Mom, and I walked down to the Marina and ended up eating at "No Worry's" restaurant. Which is owned by an American Surfer who relocated down to paradise. We actually met him and his two chocolate labs Bear & Sparky.

We drove into San Jose del Cabo to visit our favorite surf shop Costa Azul, we also went to Azteca Surf and met the owner and his dogs Kaye and the baby Mastif. We watch the locals and the newbies surf at Zipper's Beach for awhile, then headed out to Bahía Santa Maria for some great snorkeling. After we cleaned up we went to this amazing restaurant "Villa Serena," which from the entry and outside looks like a dump...but is not! The view from the table over looks the ocean, there is a pool, beautiful decorations, and GREAT seafood! My shrimp must have been JUMBO-JUMBO! mmmMmmm.

We took the 45min drive to Cerritos beach to watch the Surf Competition. We then drove into Todos Santos to buy my Costa Azul shirt (the other location didn't have my size). We decided to go back to Bahía de Santa Maria for our last day at the ocean because it was our favorite beach to relax and snorkel at, not to mention my dream house is located there! The "marea blanca" (white tide) came in that day and took a bit of getting used to by me. It is thousands on mini jellyfish...luckily these kind don't sting you. It was still eerie though. We told dad he had to experience a "No Worry's" dinner, so we ate there again. I ordered one of the best beef burritos I've ever had, too bad my lips were chapped/sunburned...the spiciness hurt! haha.

We had to pack up, and leave =( After returning our rental car and arriving at the airport 2hrs early. Our plane had mechanical problems in Phoenix and ended up being 2hrs late. Lemme tell ya, that is a HOT and STICKY airport to be stuck in. It's basically a big white tent stuffed with people and utilizes the equivalent of swamp coolers. Needless to say we were all happy when our plane arrived!
