USMC Ball & Waialua Sunflower Fields

Once again I did not make it to the USMC Balll, makes me kind of sad seeing as it was the last one in Hawaii, but I know there will be more in the future!
The Saturday after the ball we headed up to Waialua Sunflower Fields with Kaci & Stephen. We had always heard about them but never actually caught them in season! It was beautiful!

Even Hunter got in on the cut-out board photo action! Since I am posting everything so last, they have already left the island with their baby girl Emmy and we miss them a lot.

Grandpa came to visit! +Thanksgiving & Christmas Tree Farm

About a week after mom left dad flew over for "grandpa time." Seeing my dad's face light up when he took Hunter into his arms was amazing. I can't even begun to imagine what his face looked like when Alexis and I entered the world...
We went over to Jeff and Brittany's for Thansgiving, it was potluck style but there were so many people and they knew we just had the baby that they insisted we come without providing anything. We snapped a few family photos in their backyard.
During one of Hunter's long naps dad and I got a little crafty with his feet! They will be fun to look back on each Christmas.
We took a drive to north shore and hit up the Green World Coffee Farm on the way to the Helemano Christmas Tree Farm. I feel like the majority of photos from Hunter's first month involve him sleeping!
We walked around the farm with our tree cutter, once we picked our tree we had him snap a photo of us in front of it prior to the cutting process. Hunter wasn't really sure how he felt about trees.
Dad and I took little man to Secret Beach for some relaxing time, I love love love this little beach outfit Dawn gave us!
Towards the end of dad's visit we took a stroll up Radar Hill on base near sunset, I am still so weak, sore, and out of shape... Dad pushed him all the way up then all the way down, I feel kind of useless sometimes and am learning to ask for help.
We miss you and love you dad/grandpa!
