After such an amazing candle lite vigil the night before, I wondered how this ceremony would be different. The Governor's Ceremony took place at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Tammy once again spoke and personally (no offense to the governor) she was much better. He rambled on and on talking in circles, I kept wondering- "did no one edit this speech for him?!" The color-guard once again had to stand for the ceremony... this one was two hours long! [

A very unique item this ceremony had was the Presentation of the Conch Shell, followed immediately by the Oli (a chant done completely in Hawaiian), then a hula performance to a praise song!

Pearl Harbor Survivor!!

This is possibly one of the best photos of the day... Tammy saluting the wreath laid to honor the fallen.
